Palette of Life: a color-coded visual diary for iOS
Palette of Life is an iOS app I built and shipped to make personal tracking more visual. Instead of treating each day as another row of data, it turns daily activity into a color-coded calendar.
The product
People can use the app to reflect on mood, productivity, health habits, or another personal pattern. Each day is represented by a color, creating a visual record that becomes more meaningful across weeks and months.
What the app includes
- A color-coded calendar for daily entries
- A visual diary that reveals patterns over time
- Flexible use for personal activities and habits
- A Home Screen widget for seeing the day’s color at a glance
Product approach
I focused on making the record itself rewarding to look at. The interface is built around a simple daily interaction and a broader calendar view, so the product can feel useful without demanding a complicated setup.
Why it is relevant
Palette of Life shows how I translate a straightforward product idea into an approachable iOS experience, with the core interaction and the at-a-glance view working together.
